Can you help me resize the watch after authentication?
Yes, we will provide one complimentary resizing after the authentication process. This complimentary service is extremely valuable especially if the watch is brand new. This is because we will resize the watch for you without any damage to the bracelet screws. It is common to find the bracelet screws damaged when you resize outside. We want to help customers preserve the value of their new watches by resizing it for them professionally during our authentication service. Professional resizing requires treating the bracelet screws with special adhesive, according to Rolex standard, to prevent it from coming loose during its service life.
Resizing for new Rolex watches is S$45 without authentication.

Yes, we will check all parts visible to us under the microscope. The checking process is done under a microscope connected to TV so you can see the whole process.
So from opening to authenticating to putting back, I will be able to view the whole process right

I probably trust you more than the seller. To understand more, will you be able to detect alignment (probably due to drop) dents, swap of minor parts internally?
Yes, we will be able to detect all problems we can visually see. please raise all your questions and concerns with the watchmaker before the authentication so he is able to address them one by one to you during the authentication.
Why can't i have a set of the photos you have taken during the authentication?
Clients are allowed to take photos of the high resolution images of their own watches projected on the big screen. However, we cannot not provide these high resolution images in soft copy to anyone to prevent counterfeiting or production of fake watches. It is our duty to protect the Swiss watch industry that sponsored and provided us with our education and knowledge.
It will be my first time planning to engage your service for authentication purposes and I have 2 watches to authenticate.
Just wondering if I need to bring in the full set(with box) or just the watch itself will do?
We will be checking only the watch. You can bring the full set if you want us to help check if all accessories are in place.

You can see the whole process but we will not be able to teach you how to authenticate. Its not something anyone can pick up in half and hour and if we teach you how to do it, its like letting you race F1 when you just learn how to change gears without stalling.
I like to authenticate a vintage rolex, will you be able to check if all the parts are period correct and nothing has been changed
We are able to check if all the parts are period correct for vintage Rolex based on what we can see and know but not able to tell you if all the parts belong to the watch when it was made. I don't think anybody, including the original owner can tell you that.

Additional checks like timing accuracy and inner movement condition check can be carried out and with digital print-out or receipt.
How long is the whole process including the $25 timing accuracy?
Whole process about 20-30mins. timing accuracy is subjected to additional costs. Watchmaker will go through the whole process with you. If you need to have other add-ons or have other concerns, u can bring it up to him and he can advise u accordingly.
You be able to authenticate Zenith el primero with annual calendar?
Yes. We are also able to authenticate all other Swiss Made watches.

Hi, i would like to check with you what are your prices for authentication services?
The fees for authentication are S$280 for all Swiss made timepieces. If you need the condition of the watch to be assessed with digital print-out from our timing instruments, the additional fee is S$50.
I am buying a watch online, if the seller is late, or cancel the selling decision, but I have paid to your company, then how? Will you be able to refund to me?
No refund will be given as the watchmaker's time had been blocked for your authentication. But if you show up and the seller did not, you can have one re-schedule provided out of goodwill.
If appointment has been re-scheduled, and the seller does not turn up, no reschedule possible anymore as the watchmaker would had made himself available twice to your request.
If seller informed earlier, then we will be able to re-schedule at no charge ya?

for one time out of goodwill.
Hi how many days in advance to book a slot?
WhatsApp us your requested time and date and we will advise you accordingly if timing is possible. The earlier you book the appointment, the more time slot available for you. If you book late, there may be less or no time slot available. If you walk-in without appointment, you might make a wasted trip if watchmaker is not in.
I’ll be going to a shop on Sunday to pick up a watch, are you able to meet at the shop to do a authentication?
Special arrangement can be made. Out of shop assignment cost S$800 per trip for the first watch and accordingly for each additional piece based on price list and double for Sunday.
Related to Opening, Closing Caseback and Warranty

We can check only what we can see. We can tell you if watch exterior, the dial and hands is authentic, brand new, unpolished from the outside. We cannot tell you if the watch's inside is 100% authentic, brand new or untouched if we do not open the backcase.
For watches with see through caseback, we can authenticate without opening the caseback but we may not be able to provide important details like model and serial number for some watches eg. Patek Philippe which hide their model and serial number inside the caseback. The price is the same even if we don't open the caseback.
part of verification , it require open the watch ?is it true that opening the back of watch, it require changing the gasket too which will void the warranty?
We will not cause a change to anything inside your watch when authenticating. And opening of watch will not spoil your original parts as we are using soft tools with certified professional watchmaker to do the work.
If gasket is not good, we will inform you and you decide if you like to change it. Our work or original Swiss made gaskets will not void any warranty or cause the watch to be more expensive to service if you go back to the authorised service next time.
is it true once you open the back, you will need to change the gasket?
No, unless gasket is damaged and till date, we have never damaged a gasket before.
after open the back, did you perform the waterproof test or something after that?
Yes and to proof this, all watches we worked on go through a complete water resistance test in front of the client after we close it.
Will open case default the warranty?
No, warranty will not be affected. Our watchmaker passed the official exam in Switzerland with the highest score.

How come no report/cert?
This is industry practice. Scammers have been known to use authentication report for real watches to sell fake watches.
And what will be provided to me at the end of the authentication process?
A receipt with the watch's model, serial, caliber and caliber serial number.

There will be no reports or certificate provided, only our official receipt for the service done. However, the receipt will be provided with the watch's model and serial number and the inner movement's caliber and serial number.
do you have any paper work to indicate that test have been done instead of verbal?
All our test comes with digital print-out when requested. However, please note that test and authentication are two different thing.

if a screw piece for example found to be “fake”, how could I tell the seller for a refund with some proof?
All results communicated verbally and we cannot help to issue report, however you may take photo of the part if it helps with your claim.
