We are able to work on most Swiss Made watches. Exception is when genuine parts are not available to us for ordering.
Can you see the photo in the WhatsApp and tell me if your watchmaker can fix the watch?
We sometimes can tell you if the watch can be fixed but there may be problem or issues we cannot see from photos, so there is no guarantee until we see the physical watch.
Can you give me a quote on the phone for repairing my watch before I go over? I need an estimate or range for the repair.
With regards to quotes or estimates on the phone, without seeing the physical watch, we are very reluctant to do so. This is because we do not want a situation whereby the actual quote is higher than the quote on the phone, after we see the watch, and customers think that we baited them by giving a low quote.
Customers can refuse our quote or service without worrying your watch will be worse off, we will not make things worse if you refuse our quote or assessment. But we do charge a fee to put back the watch and for our time to assess and make the quote. Please understand time and manpower is also involved in checking for parts availability and price to make the quote.
We understand some customers worry that expensive watches we will charge more. This could be true because expensive watches uses more expensive parts, might require highly experience watchmakers or require more time to work on or fix. Also, we have exercise a much higher level of care and give more time when working on such watches as they are fragile. One cannot expect to pay the same price, to fix a mid-range Swiss made watch, for an expensive high-end watch if they want the work to be done properly. This is why its common to see expensive watches being damaged outside and send to us after, for repair that cost much more than if they send it to us in the first place.
There is a significant difference in the tools, experience and capability of our watch service workshop if you compare us with all others outside. Its just not the same.
